Lippan art,handmade in Navi Mumbai
From her atelier in Ulwe, Navi Mumbai, Rachna Saxena creates Lippan art of quiet luxury — hand-sculpted clay, hand-cut mirror and meditative geometry, made one piece at a time for considered homes across Mumbai and beyond.
The Studio
See the work in person
Lippan is a craft of light — mirrors catch the room differently at every hour, and relief that looks quiet in a photograph comes alive on a wall. If you are in Mumbai or Navi Mumbai, a private viewing at the atelier can be arranged — strictly by prior appointment.

Built for the Climate
Made to last through the monsoon
Mumbai's humidity is hard on handmade work. Soulfulart pieces are built on a sturdy board and sealed with a non-yellowing protective coat, and the mirrors are set to stay bright — so a panel looks the same after its fifth monsoon as on the day it was hung.
