A proud mother, a passionate artist, a health enthusiast, an animal lover and a happy home chef. Rachna's life is made of the same things her art is made of — attention, patience and a great deal of love.
She came to Lippan art the way many artists come to their material: by accident, and then completely. What began as an evening of clay and mirrors on a small board grew into a practice that now fills the walls of homes in Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru and abroad. Alongside architectural Lippan, she creates fine geometric relief panels — freehand, without stencils — because the geometry teaches her the same lesson every time: balance is built one line at a time.
Her days move between the studio and the kitchen, between her family and the animals that have adopted her over the years. She believes animals show the purest form of love and loyalty, that cooking is its own kind of craft, and that a healthy body makes for steadier hands.
Nothing in the studio is rushed, and nothing is duplicated. Each piece carries a part of her thoughts, dreams and feelings — which is why collectors so often say the room feels calmer once the work is on the wall.

The mud-and-mirror craft of Kutch: raised clay relief, hand-cut mirrors and intricate traditional motifs. Rachna keeps the vocabulary intact and lets the composition speak to a contemporary room.

A journey of patience, balance and architectural reflection. Hand-cut glass mosaics, sculpted clay lines and geometric symmetry created over weeks with quiet mindfulness.
